Don't know which one????

Sep 26 '00 (Updated Oct 08 '00)

Well the answer to this question is not so simple. The mistake many of us make is that we want one certain phone. The best phone may not be the one you like the most. What you really have to consider in buying a phone is What is the best phone for you? I am a Wireless Consultant. I have found out that there is no one phone that is right for everyone.

The first step in buying a new wireless phone is to find out which phones are available to you. The first misconception in this industry is that any phone will work with any service provider. Well certain phones will only work with certain service providers. (Example a sprint phone cannot work on a verizon rate plan.) So really you have to look at which service provider is best for you. After you find this out then you can narrow down your search for a new phone.

Don't buy your phone just because a friend or co-worker has one. The right phone for one person may not be the same for another. Other factors in buying a new phone would be what you are actually going to be using the phone for. If your uses for the phone are only security purposes, for instance you break down on the side of the road, then you would not need a really expensive phone with lots of features and gadgets.

However, if you do use the phone alot, then you would want to take in consideration battery life, and quality of the phone. Size of the phone is important to some people. Having internet access and email options are other things when considering buying a phone. There are many considerations in buying a phone, obviously the phone with the most features are going to be a little more expensive, but for the gadget guru you may not mind spending a little for some of the latest features on the latest phones. The main consideration when buying a phone is to make sure it meets all of your needs (current and future).

The best advice is to do some research and really take a look at what you are going to be using the phone for, and then try to find the best phone that meets your needs.
