I was looking for a moderately priced portable cd player for use in the car/room/travel/etc. I bought this cd player for about $90 in December of '99 - with it i received a set of headphones, a car adapter, car power supply, ac adapter, and a voucher for a free cd player case.

This model sports a 40 sec. - 2nd generation electronic shock protection (ESP-2) and various play modes. It is compact, sleek, and well designed. I particularly like the silver buttons. It offers everything I could want in a cd player and offers play features that even my JVC stereo doesn't.

and the battery lasts for at least 3 or 4 cd's - about 4 or 5 hours.

It provides great sound, great looks,and great features, all for a great price. - It's definately a must buy.

Also - my brother has had this model for over a year and it still works perfectly
