Over the past 4 years I have owned 3 cell phones with 3 different service plans. By far Bell Atlantic, now Verizon is the best.
The first plan I had through Cellular One was fine for what I needed it for. Emergency use only was the main reason I wanted a cell phone. The plan was only regional and worked in most places I would need it. There were several places where I did not have service though. The plan was also pretty expensive at the time for only 60 minutes of free air time.
The next plan I had was the family talk plan through Cellular One because several of us in the family had cell phones and we were trying to find the cheapest plan possible. Well, to begin with the plan was fine until the need for the cell phone became greater. Every time I went to use my phone I did not have service and that became extremely annoying. Also, the phone itself was very bulky and to carry it around was difficult.
Recently, I purchased a new plan with Verizon Wireless. I purchased a plan with 200 free minutes and free nights and weekends. I have the best service coverage I have ever had. I have not had one instance where I did not have service where I needed to use my phone.I have been within and over 50 miles away from my area so far in having the phone. My phone has a set fee of $39.99 per month and has all of the options you could think of. It includes call waiting, call forwarding, voicemail, just to name a few. I am extremely happy. Also, the phone that I purchased with the plan was only $39.00 after a $30.00 rebate that only took 2 weeks to get after I sent all of the necessary paperwork in.
Last weekend I received a courtesy call from Verizon. They called to make sure I was happy with my purchase and thanked me for using them. They gave me a number to call if I ever had any questions or problems with my phone or my plan. I was very pleased with the call and very impressed with my purchase.
