Like it has been said many times before, Rockford Fosgate amps are some of the most powerful that you can buy on the market today. And of course this comes with a hefty price tag. I have to clear something on the Punch Power 500a2 that is currently out. This model is so very close to the regular Punch series 500a2, that it is NOT, worth the extra money. Different authorized dealers sell Rockford Fosgate products at different prices, which is true to everything. Around where I live I can pick up a Punch Power 500a2 for around $600. The Punch Series 500a2 I can get for about $450. Between the two amps, the Punch Power 500a2 put out nearly two hundred more watts the the regular Punch series 500a2. The two biggest differences between these two is the fact that you can get the Power Punch 500a2 in chrome (which adds between $200-300 more), while the regular Punch series you can not, and the power series has the higher dB butterworth crossovers built in (up to 18 with the punch and up to 24 with the power).
