Don't Buy Anything Jensen

Jan 30 '00

Jensen radios may seem like a good deal, but you pay cheaper prices for cheaper products. I thought I was getting a good deal when I saw the CD player that came along with two speakers! Then I installed it. I can not drive over any bumps without the CD skipping. The worst part about it is not only does it skip, but it skips anywhere from a few seconds to a whole minute ahead or behind where the CD was currently playing. Plus I've noticed that now a few of my CD's are scratched from this happening to them. I've tried cleaning the player, but it was a waste of time.
As if everything that was already happening wasn't enough, winter came. I do not even attempt to play a CD until my car, my CD's, and the stereo are warm. Talk about skipping! You can't even make it through the first few seconds of a song. This stereo is just pathetic.
The speakers that came along in the package worked great! They even sound better than my stock speakers. I was really happy with them. Then about four months went by, and the left rear speaker blew. So now not only do I have a horrible CD player, but I get to listen to the constant skipping through three speakers instead of four.
