DVD711, Well worth every penny!

I bought this unit for my husband for Christmas after doing a lot of research on many different models. The reason I decided on this partictular unit is because the model he originally wanted got bad reviews everywhere I looked. I checked this model out at the store, and decided it would be the best one for my money. It is capable of playing DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD. I wanted something that would be versatile, and this unit is.
Installation and hookup was extremely easy. It hooked right up to my surround sound without a hitch. The sound quality is great, a noticible difference from ordinary television, and the picture quality, I feel, is better than my satellite.
I would recommend this to anyone, I am sure that there are bigger better models out there, but this being our first DVD player, I feel I made the best choice I could.
