I had purchased this VCR as a family gift for christmas right before our fire, it was in the kids closet and ended up going with us to my parents, where we stayed during the reconstruction of our home.
We have had it for over two years now and it has been great! We have never had even one problem with it.
It has a few really good features also, it is a 4 head vcr, great for recording and has the VCR plus built into it which is very convient for recording.
It has front jacks on it, which make it easier to connect things to it, like the 8mm camcorders. We always prefer a front jack VCR because we have always had the 8mm camcorders that we hook up to the VCR to record them onto VHS, it is more convient then fighting to get to the back of it when you have wires running everywhere. My husband has lots of electronics so, he has cords and wires everywhere.
This VCR plays well and even has the fast forward where you can still hear parts they are saying.
