When I put together my car stereo, I knew that I had to have a sub in the trunk. I looked through Crutchfield, eyeing the specs and this looked like the best for my money. I purchased it from Crutchfield, along with a bandpass box and waited for it to come.
When I got it, I hooked it up to my amp and I am currently running 100W to it. It can handle up to 250W, but even with 100W it thumps. Even throwing in something like Stone Temple Pilots' first disc, which you wouldn't expect to be bass intensive, you can feel the kicks punching you in the gut.
Overall, it's been an excellent value. I haven't noticed anything wrong with it, except for one time when a piece of plastic fell in a port and rattled around. I though it had blown out but it was just my mistake. It's been almost a year now and nothing but solid value.
