This opinion is about the dishplayer, programming, and customer service.
THE DISH ITSELF: We have had 2 only because we moved and they send you a new one. The dish is a standard size and doesn't take up much space. The first one was installed on the side of our house but our current one is on the roof because of the reception. It was easy to install and the reception is good. Sometimes the wind or storms can knock out the programming or cause it to blink. There was a rebate when we signed up so I think it only cost us $50.00
PROGRAMMING: They offer several packages. Top 40, 60, 100, and now a new 150 channel package. We started off with the America's Top 40 package but have upgraded tot he 100. the 100 channel package costs $28.99 per month. It gives you a wide selection of channels. We also added the local CBS< NBC< ABC< FOX channels for $4 per month. The only thing I don't like is I can't get our local news yet.
We do not have a movie package but they start at $10.99 per month. They offer the pay per view movies $2.99 so we watch those instead. They have 14 pay per view movie channels. Lately they have older movies playing that we've already seen. They also have several pay per view sports channels.
The only other channels that I know of is a pay per view adult movies and there are some adult channel you can add to you package.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: I haven't had any problems with this department. They have always answered my questions and explained the programming. They offer an easy pay option where your credit card is charged monthly.
