| split500kid's Full Review: Sony MDBUNDLE4 Personal MiniDisc Player |
I think I actually have the MD Bundle 6; how it is different from the 4 I don't know but they are probably sufficiently similar for this review to be relevant. The MD deck (MDS-JE330) is amazing. This thing does everything. It has optical and RCA inputs for both analog and digital recording. Automatic track marking is very efficient on this mechanism, although sometimes I have to go back and separate tracks which is no problem using the Divide feature. There are also Combine, Move and Erase options. You can edit using A-B erase (for editing out portions of tracks) and you can also fade in and out of tracks. Complete TOS functions include naming tracks and naming discs. Up to 1700 characters are able to be stored in each disc's TOS memory. As for the minidisc walkman that comes included, well it is small and very functional. There is a fully-functional remote control. If I could redesign the walkman I would include a program feature, but you can play tracks randomly. You can also adjust the bass level (3 levels to choose from) and AVLS is some feature that limits the amount of sound output (I imagine it is a battery-saving feature).
