Toshiba SD-2108. High powered, ergonomically designed, and great dependability. The SD2108 is a lower end unit that delivers great performance when hooked up. The ease of installation was a nice surprise. We did have optical cable troubles when first unpacked, but a new cable rectified that. The features perform excellently when available on different DVD movies. The remote offers a very easy navigational tool as you go from feature to feature. The pause, fast forward, and rewind features that are quantum leaps ahead of the VCR. There is no comparison between the two mediums. It automatically searches for the best presentation and is really carefree. This unit has offered our family many hours of hassle free use.
The only drawback is the picture quality. You must have the ability to connect the cable to the TV for improved quality. A cable adapter offers minimal improvement.
