Look out cable TV, your prices are soon going to have to drop. In our area cable Tv is a monopoly with government permission. I have always hated the fact that I had NO CHOICE. If I ever did, I would do it...then came Direct OHHHH YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The local Cable TV people were rude, uncaring and really could care less, they knew they had us in a barrel. Until...Direct TV..
I have to say I LOVE IT. I would never go back. We have the works all 900+ stations a few extra sports things and I am so happy. It is clear pictures and every time there is a storm my cable does not go out.
The set up was basically easy, it does take some time and easier if two people are doing it. The hardest part is finding your signal and that in itself is not hard. We had to call the company once for assistance and they were so nice, helping and stayed on the line till we got it resolved. I could not feel better about it.
We have had our Direct TV for about 4 months now..we have never had to call in and check on anything, our billing has been accurate and right on time. Again...what are you waiting for? It is worth every penny.
One draw back...in our area no local programing and I really do miss it but, there is nothing that could compare to calling the Cable TV office and saying...disconnect me! Now, thank you. What a rush!!!!!
