Great for the Casual Music Lover

Apr 09 '00 (Updated Sep 02 '00)

I bought my mini system my second semester of college because my first semester roommate moved out of our dorm and took his stereo with him. I chose the Aiwa because many friends of mine had them and they wee very happy with them. I must say that I am happy with mine. It is great for a small apartment or dorm room. When I still lived in the dorms, you could hear the stereo all the way down at the end of the hall if you wanted to annoy the neighbors.

The three disc changer is enough for any casual listener. The dual cassette deck is also great for copying tapes. There is also a bass boost and treble boost that add extra punch to the speakers.

One feature that I like most about this unit is the extra RCA inputs and outputs on the rear. The inputs are great, I have my VCR hooked into it for Surround Sound and I also have my computer hooked into the back for playing my MP3 collection. All in all I have no complaints about this unit, and plan to keep it for a long time.
