| dick112112's Full Review: Tagram MamboX Personal MP3-CD Player |
I'm not sure people are completely aware of what this product actually is, or what it promises for music lovers everywhere. This is truly a revolution(once it is actually released). Think about it, something so revolutionary that Tagram already has about 40 suppliers ready to stock and sell the player after it is made, and they are literally scattered all over the world. This product changes the pace of music for everyone, and not only those who pirate music with Napster, but for everyone, and here's why.
The Music Revolution In Front Us
The MamboX, is a new technology developed by Tagram Systems, it allows a normal sized CD player to play the infamous mp3 file. This means that you can fit the normal 650 MB's of data on a CD, however because you can now put mp3's on it, you can fit about 200 songs on a single CD. This is not a lie, it is completely true.
If you aren't completely sure what an mp3 file or CD-R is, this should clear it up. An mp3 is a music file, that "stores" a whole song, because it takes up a small amount of space, and can be sent across the internet, one could now download and store hundreds or thousands of songs on their computer and listen to them whenever they want.(Whether this is legal or not, is debatable.) A CD-R is a device which can write to the popular Compact Disc format, owners of this product can write data or music onto a CD and play it in a regular CD player, and now they can write mp3's onto this same CD and fit many more.
Commercial bands and groups can now market their songs on CD's with 200 songs, or companies could specialize on making mixes for people, with the bands permission, only it would not simply be a mix of today's popular songs, but a mega-mix of 200 awesome songs. For this reason, it is a great blessing to all, not just the Napster Pirates.
But not only has Tagram come up with this amazing technology, they have also beefed it up with all kinds of the latest technologies of today's CD players, such as 45 second anti-skip, Mega Bass Boost, and a remote-control. This baby is beefed up!!
But maybe the best thing about this product is that it can support CD-RW's which are re-writable CD's. With today's popular CD-Writers, people are making their own CD's non-stop, however they, before now, could not change what is on the track after they put it on, but now with Tagram’s new technology, which can actually read the CD-ReWritable format, this will be possible. One could now write songs to a single CD, and then weeks later, replace them with newer, better songs.
Tagram has also added features to search the entire track list, and makes it very easy for one to name the tracks on the CD(this is actually done during the writing process, It actually reads the name of the file being written and saves it as the name of the track.)
From what Tagram has announced, there are few downsides to this product, except that it is not released yet, although it is planned to be released soon. If you have a huge reaction to this review, and maybe don't believe it or want to find out more fell free to e-mail me.
