I had another satellite system that I was very happy with,the only time it lost signal was during snow storms,but,the satellite company went out of business,so I had to make the decision of what satellite to get.I decided Dish.They paid me 40.00 dollars to get their system,which was a good deal.Since I got Dish,the signal gets lost at least once a week,rain,wind,you name it,sometimes it can be a nice sunny day,while your really into a program on t.v,and bam,your signal is lost for 30 minutes.I'm actually thinking of switching to another satellite provider who offer more programs for a cheaper price,and offer local networks with out having to buy a new satellite to get them.I do not have Dish 500,nor do I intend to spend 200.00 to get one,to get local networks.Dish does have good sound and picture quality.
