Alpine CDA-7850

I have always liked Alpine cd players do to the fact that they have high power ratings, extremely clarity and easy to learn. The CDA-7850 has all of this and builds upon it. The CDA-7850 is one of the first of the "swing face" cd players that Alpine has released. It has many of the features that are common to today's cd players, with two pre-outs (rear and a front / non fading pre-out) which have a 2v output, high power with 40x4, and a handy wireless remote. Some of the more advanced features of this cd player include the moving face (able to set it in three different settings and it moves down to place a cd in or to take one out), DHE (digital harmonics enhancement, which has six options) and the Ai-Net ready. The DHE (which is selected by pushing the button labeled DHE) has four distinct sounds. The first and the third are for crystal clear highs and base (more clearer on the first and more realistic on the third), while the second and the fourth are more for lyrics. The fifth option, makes every part of the music stand out from each other and is what i use on mine, and then of there is the DHE off which is the basic sound of any cd player. DHE power mode can be turned on (amplifies everything listed) after you have selected your mode and the number is still blinking... it is turned on by hitting the function key on the bottom row of buttons. The non-fading pre-out is shared with the front pre-out, causing you to either have your highs always loud or your bass, or whichever one you want louder, just have the non-fading pre-out turned off and fade it whichever way you want it. The other features this cd player includes are the detachable face,cd text, ability to control an Ai-net changer with your remote, and other basic features.
