SCA30 Is a Great Buy!!

The SCA30 is a great camcorder for the average family. It's inexpensive, get's the job done, and is easy to use. I like the compact form of the 8mm cameras and tapes, you can transfer to VHS later if you want to. I was looking for an inexpensive camcorder that would let me commemorate my kids growing up and significant moments, this is the perfect camcorder! I previously had a Sony Handycam that we had several problems with, I didn't want to spend another $600-$700 and get a piece of junk. The Samsung SCA30 was only $250.00 at Sears and for another $60 I purchased a 3 year warranty. That means I could buy three of these for what I bought my Sony for and it would last a lot longer. This is a basic camcorder. There are many many features out there on the higher priced models. Someone wanting a high tech toy should probably look elsewhere, this is for the average person who just wants to take some videos.
