The dishplayer fills in a couple of gaps for us.Local cable is unreliable, and too far for over air broadcast. The web side is simple and easy for everyone to use.It is slower than a computer, but at a fraction of the cost. The web supplies a great tv listing. The updates fall short on the web side, but the dish side are really getting better. With mine it had 30 min. digital pause.Now have 5 hours of recording time, 7sec. instant replay. The service I received when receiver went bad was great. Had replacement in 3 days, no cost.
