A great Plan for the Family

My family has been with Houston Cellular for 4 years now. We have of course had our ups and downs, but that has been the way with cellular phones. Like any cellular phone, and phone company, there are times that service my be slightly week, or cells with bad reception. Over all though, we have had very little problems with Houston Cellular.
In regards to there rate plans, we have gone through a number of different plans. We currently as a family have 1600 minutes a month to share. This is a really great thing. It allows for those times when it is a very busy cellular month for one of us to not have to worry about going over in minutes. Plus, I would say that yes, Houston Cellular has a one year contract, but they are not going to hold someone down when there needs change. To the up direction that is... My family has never stayed in one plan for an entire year. This is due to the constantly changing cellular needs of our family. They never charged us a hefty fee, as long as we were upgrading our service. Of course I understand that is good business, but it doesn't mean they have to do it. They could change the service, and charge a hefty sum.
One other good point is the flexibility of calling areas and locations. We are on the no roaming in Texas Plan, and free long distance. Since Houston Cellular has contracts with people across the country, we have been able to send and receive calls everywhere we have gone. This is really great for road trips, and is not something some of the other local companies can offer.
The only bad thing can be the cost of the phone. Of course you can get a phone for really cheap, but that is what you get, a really cheap phone. To get high quality service, you have to have a high quality digital phone.
