| RubySapphire's Full Review: Sony SAT-B3 Digital Satellite System |
After several years of horrid cable service, we decided that there had to be a better way to watch TV. We did some research and decided on the Sony SAT-B3 antenna and receiver. We are so pleased with it! We decided on this particular model because it has the capability to use 2 different receivers from one antenna, so we can have television service in two different rooms without both having to on the same channel. It was easy to install (once my husband figured out what direction to face!) and it's given us no problems whatsoever.
It comes with a remote than can be programmed to operate your television and vcr. The remote is the most durable thing in our home! The kids tend to drop it a lot, but it always works. I can't say that for the other remotes we've had! The instruction book is big, but well written so anyone can understand how to use the equipment. There are many options on how to customize your onscreen guide and list of favorite channels. We can either block out completely offensive channels or just remove them from the guide list.
The sound is great and the picture is so sharp! We use the music channels instead of our regular stereo as the sound is much better. It's wonderful to have such clear images and no ghosting or fading.
We are very pleased with this purchase and would suggest to anyone who is tired of lousy TV reception, outages, and high cable prices to invest in a Sony satellite television system.
