Samsung VR400P VCR

Dec 17 '00

This friendly little VCR have a special attention with the cool fashion statement. This four-head video recorder comes dressed in many curvaceous translucent color. You can see through the VCR, see how the mechanical innards going through their paces and pulling the tape around the spinning video head drum. The remote control is also came in see through case.

This VCR is perfect for kids of all ages because is easy to setup and operation and also fun to use. All you need to do is just plug in the cable, connect the power and your all set to use the VCR. When you completed those step, the 180-channel tuner scanner automatically scans for all viewable channel and memorizes it channel. Many other features are existed in this little VCR, like sets the correct time on the front-panel clock. You can also get an auto tape-speed feature allowing you to calculates is the tape getting overloaded or not even room in using SP mode, the tape-speed automatically set itself to be recording in SLP if SP is not enought room to record.
The outputs sound is not exactly stereo but is sufficiently clear and good enough to dialogue. Sound effects are average from TV speakers outputs.

One good thing about this little VCR is the child door-lock system is to prevents your kids from trying to putting stuff into the VCR like candy, cake and etc. One more good thing is the lock function which prevent from having a recording schedule disabled. Also this VCR contain a real-timer(Clock) with alarm function to wake you up or use for other stuff.

About the Remonte
Recording and menu access is only can be done from the remote, if you don't want your kids messing around with this VCR, just hide the remote. One thing I hated about this remote because there no direct-access numbered keypad to go directly to the channel that you want by pressing the button. This remote only contain the channel switching which can be slow if you wanna go to channel 102 from channel 29.

The only way to play the built-in video games, you need to use the remote to controll it. I forgot to mention about the built-in video, this built-in video games offer a couple of shooting gallery and a road racing game. This can be fun and enjoyment for your kids.

One more thing, don't ever misplace the remote otherwise you be turning from Mr. Friendly to Mr. Screamer.

Features:

-4-head VHS VCR with remote
-Child door-lock system
-Full clock display with wake-up alarm
-High-speed rewind
-Timer backup: 24 hours, 7 days
-And Other Basic Features
