Panasonic PV-A207

To replace my old 8mm, my husband bought the Panasonic PV-A207 Palmcorder. Our old camera literally fell apart after two years and we were reluctant to buy another one. We bought the Panasonic for about $300 and I have to say that I was very impressed with the features on it. We still use it all the time. With a new baby in the house, we use it even more.
We love the style and shape of the camera. When they say palmcorder, they really mean it. I can zoom in on what I'm filming, backlight it, and everything. I'm really impressed with how it's weathered the last few years. It's been with us on all my vacations, a move overseas, and a whole lot more. The only drawbacks that I've noticed with this camcorder is the sound quality really goes downhill when you go outside. If there's even a slight wind, it picks it all up. Also, there could be more edit features on the camera itself.
I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a first camcorder or someone who just wants to film family gatherings or scenery.
