Technical help doesn't help

I wrote and opinion a while back about DirecTv Total Choice Program. Let me say that I do love sattelite TV the number of channels and programs that are available are awesome.
The problem I have is with the technical support if you have a problem.
We just purchased a second reciever for another room in the house. We installed the new reciever and called for programming the technician took the information and said we were all set, but we weren't so I got the standard answer of hang up the phone, take the access card out, unplug the unit for 5 min. and it should be set up. I did all of that and still nothing. I called back to the support center the first technician didn't even have us set up. To make a long story short I have some channels but not all that I should have and I am making daily calls with no help.
I have a list of 1-800 numbers a mile long. The technicians seem like they are only qualified to answer one question each and if you need a different answer well you guessed it you have to call another 1-800 number. Anyway maybe this will help someone else out in their time of need.
