| majikk's Full Review: AT&T Mobile Phone Service in San Francisco/San Jos... |
This plan has everything if you don't abuse your phone usage too much in the daytime. The customer service is curteous and personable. Yes, I did say something thing good about cellular customer service. They are willing to assist and very knowledgable about the jobs. It took only a few minutes to set up vmail because of my neglect to choose it when starting my plan and solve a billing error. All this happened in less than five minutes while I was in traffic leaving work, and the customer service agent was in New Jersey and I talked to him about my trip to NY recently. The agent was not pushy to get me off the phone and he new how to do his job and solve my problems.
As for the service itself I am going to copy a bit from my opinion about my Nokia 6160 phone and how useful it was in the mountains in the snow.
I travel alot on the weekends to the mountains or lakes in California and this 6160 gets reception just about everywhere. In the height of the 2000 ski season I was on the HWY 80 Donner Summit Pass between Sacramento CA and Reno NV and we could not get the started after our pitstop at the pass rest area so I went to use the pay phone which needless to say had a 10 person line to it and we were in the middle of a blizzard. So I went back to my car to get some change for the phone and I saw that my cellphone had two bars of reception out of four. So I tried it and I got a hold of some friends that were able to come pick us up. That phone actually worked in the middle of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. When I went to the pay phone line to pull my brother out and tell him that we had a ride on the way, the entire line looked at me in amazement. I quickly told them that I had a Nokia 6160 with Cellular One service and was able to make a clear call to friends from within my semi warm car. They all swore to get the same phone and service plan.
For more info on the Nokia 6160 check out my opinion posted.
