Denon has not made a poor, bad, terrible, nasty, or unusuable machine by any extent or measure of the likes. This model is nice, but it is far too plain in this day and age and its specs are not as high as its competitors. Picture quality is ok, but could be much better, for instance. THERE NEEDS TO BE MUCH MORE OPTIONS! I cant stress this enough people, I have been in the entertainment buisness a long time and I jsut see way too many simple DVD players out there with nothing to back them up. Sound is good. Can't complain too much about that, nice and crisp. But for a player like that, I felt it was a little overpriced. Wait till it comes down, but I wouls still look elsewhere. Its just too....mediocre.
