jvc digital camcorder

I bought this product knowing that I would use it when my son was born. He is now six months old, and after countless videos I must say that I am satisfied with my JVC digital camcorder. The picture quality is fantastic and the countless editing features are great. Don't get me wrong, the camera is easy to understand, especially after a little use.
The only negative aspect to this or any other digital camera, is the cost of tapes. Each tape costs around $20.00, and runs for about an hour. I have found a way around it by hooking up my camcorder to the VCR and taping the digital tapes on to a video cassette tape. I lose little quality this way and can re-record over the digital tapes.
The battery life is about 2 hours, and with two batteries and an AC adapter I have had no problems losing power while taping. I can also hook up the camcorder to my computer with a Connectix capture device and send pictures to family. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality camcorder at a decent price.
