| andyvegas's Full Review: Hughes Networks D4532 DIRECTV |
I've had this system for just over a month now, and I love it. The reason I went with this model over the other Hughes models was for the Dolby Digital output. I have the optical digital out connected to my Onkyo TX-DS555 DD receiver. Sure, very little of DTV's programming is in DD, but it is still worth it. This is because even the non DD sounds so much better through the optical out then through the traditional coax (which runs through my TV into my receiver).
Navigation is easy and there are so many other features that you probably won't use them all. I've found the interface to be reasonably intuitive, at least compared to other electronic equiptment. My system also came with a coupon for a free RF remote. I'm still waiting for that. I plan to run a signal to a second TV once the remote arrives.
