Plasma is a long time coming. And it's finally here, with a price tag go follow! First of all these Televisions are awesome! They're based on plasma, the same idea of what is in a laptop TFT screen, however it uses a plasma instead of a liquid. This lets them get a sharper image, without the shadowing caused by fast moving objects.
I was one of the first people to get a glance at this thing, and if I had $20000 at the time I would have taken it home with me. These televisions create such a sharp picture you'll be confused as to why you've been looking at your television screen for so long. The great thing is you can stare at it for hours and not get a headache, because it doesn't have a big Tube in it blasting out radiation! Another thing that is of some importance is that it's only about 2 inches thick. You can just hang it on a wall and watch away! The picture is as clear as HDTV, and most of them are HDTV compatible.
I thought HDTV was the big thing, and it will be my next TV until these Plasma's come down a bit in price. However these Plasma screens really take the cake. You can look at it from every angle and the picture is just as clear and sharp. It doesn't mask or shadow at certain angles like old laptop monitors. It is simply amazing. So if you have an extra $20000-$30000 pick one up right away or wait a while for them to drop down, they will soon. But if you have the money pick me up one too, I'd be ever so grateful!
