| pfct10nail's Full Review: Hughes Networks D1132 Single LNB DIRECTV System |
We live in the country near a lake. We can get cable but the choices of movies were slim pickings. On my 30th birthday I bought myself a satellite system... I could not wait. When I purchased the product it sounded so easy call make an appointment with a technician and your satellite should be up and running... right??? WRONG!!! I paid for installation when I purchased the system but when the technician came he wanted another $300 dollars plus another $100 for a splitter.... Needless to say there were a lot of "hidden costs" and no where did they say they charge another $5.00 per month per box... Well after all said and done I wasted a lot of money from the start. Get the system going and now everytime the wind blows I cant get a signal or when it rains.. the same thing. I called the installation company and they said thats just how it is and there is nothing we can do so now I am stuck with this lovely dish on my roof.. and I went back to the basic "ol country cable" and I am happy.....
