| rrgordon's Full Review: Fuji Endeavor 4000ix Point and Shoot Camera |
The Fuji 4000SL is the best all around camera I've ever owned. My other camera is a Minolta MAXXUM 9000, but I use the Fuji more. This is my second Fuji 4000SL. The first one I dropped as I was photographing a waterfall in the middle of a stream. It was in the water for just a second, but Fuji's repair department said it was not repairable, and sold me a replacement for $400 (the first one was purchased from QVC for $300).
I am an artist and use the camera to capture material and ambiance for my paintings; the Avantex panoramic mode is invaluable for that purpose. The other thing I like is that you don't have to "fiddle" with the controls to get good pictures. Things like SLR mean "what you see is what you get".I'd highly recommend this camera to anyone, amateur or pro.
