A sad affair!

Don't buy this camera! It doesn't have fire wire and we got suckered into it 15 months ago! Fair warning! After a short period of time the on/off and selection switch will become difficult. The zoom will act up on its own and the steady cam feature will malfunction. The sound is really tough. The microphone will become very sensitive and the sound will crackle beyond recording capability! The picture in bright light is remarkable but the low light pictures are dark and blurry. The zoom is shaky and the light is useless!
We were fairly happy despite the limitations until we found out that we spent a goodly amount of money on out of date equipment. We even ordered a fire wire video editor but had to send it back when we found that this model didn't have a way to download digital or upload the edited digital
signal!
