Pros:none!
Cons:no LED, hard to use, hard to download to the computer, cheesy plastic case
A digital camera for less than $100? Yeah RIGHT! It DOES cost less than $100. $49.95 after a $30 in-store rebate and a $20 mail-in rebate! My brother has been looking for a digital camera for a long time. When we saw the ad in the Sunday paper for this one it fit his wallet just fine. We flew to Best Buy for this camera as soon as the stores opened. Good things do come in small packages but this was a REALLY small package! It's not much bigger than a throw away camera that fits in a shirt pocket. The camera doesn't have an LED either. You look thru a view finder just like on a regular film camera.
We flew back home to get started taking pictures of anything and everything. I'm a stickler about doing things by the book and I don't usually have trouble reading instructions. First clue that something wasn't quite right was the quick start instructions and the manual don't tell you to do the same things to start out with. Getting the little memory card installed and formatted was the first hurdle. It says, "Make sure the camera is OFF before installing and formatting the memory card" OK that's easy to make sure of. Then it says " Press the DEL button until ALL ERASE appears and then press the shutter button". The big this it neglects to tell you is the ONLY way this will appear is if you TURN it ON again. After 30 minutes of trying to figure this out we finally got the memory disk formatted.
An hour later we finally got the camera to register it had take a picture! This is not an easy camera to use at all! To take a picture you have to hold down the shutter button for 1.5 seconds and KEEP holding it down til it beeps, this can be 10 seconds later! It takes this long for it to TAKE the picture.
Another hour passed before we finally gave up trying to download the pictures we had taken. How hard can it be to download the pictures? It says to start the software BEFORE you turn on the camera. Did that and still no downloading of pictures. Finally gave up and packed it back in the box with all it's software and packing material. This camera will be returned for a refund!
So, beware of these super low priced digital cameras. My granddaughter's $69 digital Barbie camera is easier to use than this one! Save your money and purchase a Sony or Polaroid or Kodak!
Since we never could download any of the pictures that the camera said we had taken I can't say if the resolution was any good.
