The MDS-JE330 a great addition to the component system

Sony has done it again! They revolutionize the way in which we listen to music and they are innovative enough to make it affordable. The bundle, which includes RCA plugs, a fiber optic cable, a mini-disc man cool in-ear headphones and the home component recorder/player, cost only $450.00. That may sound like quite a chunk of change, but I purchased my bundle about 7 months ago, when the technology was new. The great aspect of the mini-disc is the designers combined the clarity of the CD and the durability of the cassette tape. 74 min. of digital sound on a disc the size of a 3.25 floppy disc! You can erase individual tracks or just record over them with ease and name not only the songs but the whole disc for playback memory on your display. The drawback to MD is the price of pre-recorded music! $20.00 per album, that is if you can find them! Full function remote and batteries were included. The deck itself is moderately easy to incorporate into one's pre-existing system, just plug it in and start recording.(2 MD's were included).
