We were given a 20" Panasonic 20G3 for Christmas in 1998. We had asked for a TV from my husbands parents for our family room for the children to use for there cartoons.
It is the easiest tv to use. It has great color and picture quality. Sound is pretty good (volume control could use some help -- really can't hear it until you reach 4 or 5), the remote is very small and compact.
On your Action screen (which is like a menu control) you have Setup (where you set your time, antenna, auto programming for cable, and language), Audio (this is for stereo, SAP and Mono), Timer (it has a built in sleep timer and a program timer), Picture (this is where you can have a normal picture, or set it up on brightness, tint and sharpness), Channel Captioning (this is to caption certain channels) and a Parental Lock (this has a Game Guard that blocks out channels 3 and/or 4 and video inputs. All this requires passwords).
I am really not sure what the price of the television was but I am sure it was not that expensive. I really do believe this is a great tv for small rooms or for a child's room.
