I purchased my Samsung SCA-20 8mm Camcorder in May 1999 for $269. This camcorder performs just as well or better than camcorders costing hundreds of dollars more. I am a storm chaser, so I primarily use my SCA-20 for taping weather phenomena. So far, it has proven to be very durable and has captured some impressive images of weather phenomena. I am simply amazed at how easy the SCA-20 is to operate. I was video taping within minutes of opening the box. The picture quality is great and the sliding zoom button is terrific. The sound is very good considering that the SCA-20 uses an internal microphone. The SCA-20 is also very small and lightweight and can easily be supported by one hand. Why pay more for other camcorders when you can get an equally good one for under $300?
