Ok, I know. I was late jumping on the cell phone bandwagon. I was worried about cost, reliability, actual usage vs necessity, and the quality of service. Well, all my worries have been laid to rest! A friend gave me her old phone when she bought a new one, so all I had to do was get it activated and find a service plan.
I researched for two months before I decided on AT&T. I chose the 10-10-10 plan. That's $10 for regular service, $10 for 100 peak time minutes and $10 for unlimited nights and weekends. This is an excellent plan. I love the convienence! The reliability is also excellent. I haven't had any problems connecting to people, and I am really pleased with that. I had heard horror stories of trying to call and call and you would get the system busy signal. I haven't gotten that yet!
In actual usage? Well, let me tell you, we have used this phone a lot! My husband works nights now, so it is excellent to have for him in case of emergencies. We also ended up with a flat tire last weekend and I was so happy we had the phone to call for help. Without it we would have had to walk about a mile to a phone.
I am really pleased with my cell phone service, and I would recommend AT&T to anyone.
