These headphones have perhaps the highest resolution of any earphones I
have ever used. The only other headphones that were even close were Stax SRM-3 electrostatic headphones. I have read many professional reviewers who use them as reference earphones. In addition to their amazing sound quality, they completely seal your ear providing about 20dB of noise reduction. They are beautiful in high noise environments.

The big minus to these guys is that they can be uncomfortable. They stick way down in your ear and it takes a while to get used to that. You also need to clean them frequently.
