Technomad Vernal 15

I saw how Technomad's larger /pro sound speakers (Berlin/Chicago/Noho) were being used by Universal Studios and the White House, and decided to try a pair of their smallest (lower cost) loudspeakers on my deck. They sound great! They are very clear and articulate. Most importantly for outdoor applications, they are rugged and highly weather resistant. After seeing them, I did not hesitate to let them stay outside.

The ultra-compact Vernal 15 combines a high-excursion 5.25" polyethylene cone bass driver with a horn-loaded 1" ceramic high-frequency driver. No "dome tweeter" or "no tweeter" design can compare to the efficiency and sound quality of this true two-way design. 60 watts RMS power handling means the Vernal works very well for all music types, and with amplifiers ranging in power from 5 watts to 80 watts RMS.
