I absolutley love my DVD player. I bought it a year ago with the launch of 800.com. It has never given me any problems. It was rumored on the newsgroups that this model had sound problems but mine never did. I believe it was an earlier shipment that did but you were able to get it fixed by Toshiba. It can play CD's as well and if I was to buy another one I might have enjoyed the added option of watching Laser Disc's. The price was very reasonable as I think I bought it at a time when they were getting ready to introduce the SD-2109 model. I paid 250.00 but got a bunch of freebies with it. I would recommend the Toshiba line to anyone.
