If you want good quality and dependability, then try Sony. All of my experiences with Sony thus far have gone well and I'm completely satisfied. The SAT-B3 provides quality direct tv and always presents a very clear picture. It's very user friendly with the onscreen programming and is relatively easy to install yourself. The instructions are quite clear and accurate. Being a novice at the installation, I was a little hesitate, but after following the step-by-step procedures, it was a snap. In as little as a couple of hours, you can be on your way to digital tv. Sony SAT-B3 is competitive with other satellite receivers pricewise, and even if it wasn't, I would try the name. Sony speaks for itself.
