I got this system about a month ago. I had been checking the Home Theater System for about 2 months and this was one of my choice at the end. I can not afford those over $400.00 system, but I wanted to have a Dolby Digital to enjoy my DVD player. I was going to compromise by getting Dolby Prologic System, but then I found this system on the ad. Priced under $300.00 with Dolby Digital Surround, optical input with 5.1 speaker bundled in a package. I also considered Kenwood but I liked the design of this system and also the out put is more powerful.
I got this at BestBuy during the lunch time. I could not wait to get home. It was a hot day but I opened box before I turned Air Conditioning. The instruction for setting up the system was well written and all the parts and cable needed for set up were included. It took about 45 minute to set up and I could start enjoy the terrific sound of DVD in 1 & 1/2 hours after I got home.
Satellite speakers were small, but deliver very quality sound. Sub Woofer is giving the great vibration to my body. My wife can be careless, but all my friends love this. It is very user friendly. For the price, you can not ask any more than what comes in this package.
I chose AIWA over Kenwood for the reputation. I chose AIWA over Sony for the price. I kind of wish that there are two optical input but again, this is enough for me.
