My 6612: I would be lost without it
Jan 05 '01
About a year ago, I purchased the Nokia 6612 phone. I have been very happy with its performance ever since. I am on the phone quite a lot, so I need a reliable cell phone. The Nokia 6612 phone works with AT&T Digital PCS service.
This phone along with the AT&T service has a lot of great features including caller ID, text messaging, and voice mail. This phone comes with a NiMH long life battery that has never giving me problems. It charges quick and easy and even allows me to leave the phone while I charge so I do not miss calls. However, if I want a lasting charge it is best to turn off the phone.
This phone is extremely lightweight. It weighs only 6.0 oz with the battery, and can be attached to my belt on my side. I think my favorite feature in the phone is the address book and other organizer features. The address book can store up to 199 names and numbers. The phone also has calendar and calculator functions. I can set an alarm to go off at a certain if I need to be reminded.
I can also set the phone ringer to 3 settings depending on what I am doing. The settings are silent, meeting, or outdoor. For those that like to take a little break there are four games on your phone for your enjoyment.
This phone is very easy to setup. It comes with an extensive instruction manual to help you along the way. I would highly recommend this phone. It works well for my purpose which is business. I do not lose too many calls and with text messaging and voice mail, I am always in contact. I have not had any problems with my phone or the AT&T service that goes with it. Customer service has always been helpful and they will walk me through steps in order to fix any problems I do have.
