HOUSING WEARS QUICK on unprotected Nokia! Protect it with a case!

I've been the happy owner of a Nokia 5120 dual-mode cellular phone for over a year now. It's been a reliable phone, and the features of caller-id, voice mail and text messaging are essential and the pricing is much better than the analog US Cellular plans.
I have a word of advice -- buy a good quality case for your Nokia phone. I never had one for mine, and after about 7 months I noticed that the back of the plastic housing of the phone was wearing toward the top where the battery slides and clicks into place. When this area wears, the battery easily slides off during use. My husband's phone, which is identical, has always been protected by a case, and he has never had this problem.
Since the battery kept sliding off, I had to take the phone in for repair. The estimated wait is about 6-8 weeks to get it back, and I had alot of numbers programmed into the phone that I have lost. US Cellular did give me a loaner to use for awhile.
Nokia has a very nice quality leather case with an exposed button area. The case slides over the phone, and tightly zips into place, like a pair of tight leather pants! There is no annoying plastic covering the key and display area. It also has a belt clip built into it, which I have found to be very convenient, and it even looks very professional when worn on your belt or pants pocket. They have similar cases for their other series of phones. It's $10 more (about $30) than the case with the plastic covering, and looks much nicer. I got mine at my local US Cellular office.
