For this price, you don't get a sound like this with any other stereo system. This 150 dollar stereo has the sound quality of stereos you can see at the stores going for $300 +!
THE LOOK:
The Aiwa CDS-MD50 has a great look to it with a sleek silver panel. It takes up very little space, but the speakers deliver an awesome blast of music. You can turn the sound up to a deafening boom if you want to, or just tune up the bass to add a little oomph to the music. The system fits nicely into the corner of your room and adds a little flair and technology to the atmosphere. The panel also has cool graphics when you select a song, and when the music is playing.
FEATURES:
A great feature is the built-in MiniDisc recorder and you can find it with an excellent MiniDisc player included for a very cheap price. The included remote allows you to control everything without having to move an inch while you relax listening to a great sound. There's nothing like kicking back and programming your stereo system to play the tunes without any trouble at all. A tape deck is also included for those who want to listen to their fav. music from the before CD era. For different varieties of music, there are different settings to better the sound quality. For example, when listening to my favorite band, Phish, I set my player to a pop/rock setting to maximize the vocals and guitar.
MD editing is very easy with this system. You can name your disc, the tracks, re-arrange the order of the tracks, delete, and add tracks, all with the touch of a button! The included manual makes editing a sinch, and the name of the tracks shows up on the display of the Aiwa portable MiniDisc player for your convenience.
OVERALL:
I am now the owner of many fine Aiwa products and I am very pleased with all of them and their dependability. I highly recommend this mini system and boombox to any lover of good music and a good deal. I have had no difficulties with this system and the features are excellent and easy to operate. Recording MiniDiscs are a great way to listen to the music you love. For a stereo this size at this price, this Aiwa CDS-MD50 sure packs a punch!!
