| stellman's Full Review: Polk R1 Bookshelf Speaker |
I bought these speakers with a small apartment in mind, and they have performed beautifully. I have them matched with a Pioneer 100w/ch Pro Logic amp (It's old, and it was free) with a Terratec M3PO mp3/cd player unit.
The drivers provide solid sound, and very nice midrange and highs. The bass is good, but a small subwoofer (8 inch) would be a nice addition to the system.
I found the system on sale for about 80 dollars a pair, and I wouldn't think about ever taking that deal back! They have a great price/performance ratio, and I use them a lot!
