| malench2's Full Review: Bose Lifestyle 3 Micro Audio System |
I purchased my Lifestyle System 3 about a year ago, and I have enjoyed using it quite a bit for the following reasons:
1) I am no audiophile, but when I compared this system to other 'mini' systems, the sound was far richer while the unit was considerably smaller and better looking.
2) I use my system mainly for listening to music, not surround sound theater. I was looking for a system that produced a full tone w/o taking up a lot of space. This system's jewel cube speakers work very well on both counts. I can hide the base unit under the couch while mounting the tiny speakers on the wall.
3) I purchased my system at a Bose outlet and paid around $700 including sales tax. While this was a bit more than some other models I was considering from Sony & JVC, to me the Bose sounded much better.
4) The remote control is amazingly simple and functional. I can use it from any room in the house.
5) The system was a snap to set up. The instructions were easy to follow, and I have had no trouble with it.
The main gripe I have with the system is that it can play only one CD at a time, which is the trade-off for the sleek design.
