Over the past two years, I experienced nothing but frustration with AT&T's wireless service plans.
Here's why AT&T is at the bottom of my list.
1) Service: The sales force at AT&T wireless is so incompetent that I refuse to call unless it's absolutely necessary.
2) Lost phone: I lost my phone once in New York City and I called AT&T to temporarily terminate my service. But AT&T was unable to do this because the network was "down"... As a result of AT&T's network problems, my phone bill was charged with over $68 of calls that I did not make... and yes, AT&T said that I had to pay it.
3) 1 year contract: Whenever you sign up with AT&T, you're forced into a 1 year commitment. I would have ended this contract after 1 year but since I upgraded to the One-Rate Plan, they locked me into an additional year. Be careful of this loophole as it also might apply if you move to a different city and get a new phone number.
