Mitsubishi VCR'S Are Long Lasting
Sep 14 '00
The first VCR I purchased was produced by Sharp and I had it for approximately 9 years and I was very happy with it. When it came time for a new VCR I wasn't sure Sharp could be outdone but I picked out a Mitsubishi because the price was very economical. I believe I paid in the area of $149. Now I wish I could tell you the model number but since that was now going on 10 years ago I simply have no idea. This goes to prove that Mitsubishi manufactures excellent VCRs in my opinion.
My VCR is quite adequate with all its features. It has on-screen programming which I find extremely useful. It has a sturdy front load which I feel is very important as the one quality about my former VCR that was less than acceptable was that the tape often got stuck in the loader. No problem with the Mitsubishi.
Another quality I like about the Mitsubishi is that it is very light weight so that when it came time for me to move I just disconnected it and placed it in my car as I really did not want it knocked around on the moving truck. This also makes it convenient to bring in for repair as once I though it was broken but turned out to be a bad tape.
I think that a 10 year life span is really unbeatable and I highly recommend the Mitsubishi brand for VCRs. After all, if it needs to be replaced in the near future, I think I more than got my money's worth from it.
