I really didn't buy this product, my parents bought it for me, but it has been the best receiver I've had so far.
This receiver is great for listening to music with inputs for up to 4 speakers. It is not great for getting the full effects of DVD movies however, because it doesn't have the surround sound and DTS abilities. It has sufficient treble and bass (the way I use it with 2 speakers) and can handle most any type of music you throw at it.
It has 100 watts per channel, unless your using 4 speakers than it uses 50 watts per channel. The remote is pretty lame because it doesn't do everything you want it to. It doesn't really matter that much because this receiver doesn't cost that much.
I think college students or kids that get one of their first receivers ever should buy this product. It was good for me because I started out with a piece of junk stereo that was all one piece. It does save space though. If you are cheap and need a good receiver, check this one out.
