| JakeNM's Full Review: Cambridge Soundworks Outdoor In-Wall Speakers |
I just received my Cambridge SoundWorks outdoor inwall speakers. Let me be the first to say "I love these speakers!" They are relatively inexpensive (got them for $250/pr at hifi.com), compact, easy-to-install, and sound great. I bought them on Henry Kloss's good name, and I believe that they stand up to his reputation as a great speaker designer.
The highs are incredibly crisp and accurate, and the mids sound great. The bass is tight, but the low-frequency sound is a little lacking. That can be expected in a speaker with this small of woofer and cabinet, though. Overall, I think they are the best inwall speakers I've heard for under $500.
I'd recommend these speakers to anyone who wants to install outdoor speakers without spending a fortune or having bulky speakers protruding from their walls. You won't be disappointed.
